Be a winner with WordPlay

WordPlay runs a quarterly short story competition which is open to all, irrespective of membership status.
Entries are judged by a panel of three, which includes the founders and an invited judge.
The winning entry is published in the WordPlay Ezine, and the winning entrant is invited to become a WordPlay Accredited Writer, as well as receive £75 and have his or her winning entry published in the WordPlay Showcase.
The second placed entrant receives a runner's up prize of £25, and is invited to become a WordPlay Accredited Writer.
Poetry and script writing competitions are planned for the future.

Deadline 25th JANUARY.
Entries should be submitted on a word document as an attachment to email using the link below.
Please Head your subject with the words "Wordplay Competition Entry", after first paying the entry fee.
Entries should be typed in 12 point Times New Roman Font, double line spaced.
For short stories, word count should not exceed 2,500 words.
The entry fee is £5 (approx €5.60), Free to Wordplay Members. You may submit more than one entry, but each should be on a separate email.
