Why does WordPlay
operate a two step process for the purchase of its services?
This helps us keep
the functions of finance and service provision separate, and is a process we have decided upon to protect your personal data.
This is why we ask you to supply your membership number (and if applicable Paypal confirmation number) on service requests.
We marry the two parts up, without releasing personal details across the internal ‘Chinese Wall’.
As a member of WordPlay, I am entitled to discounts
on many services and products. Why do I have to pay full price and then wait for WordPlay to
refund my discount?
In our accounting system we have to show the full value
of goods or services purchased from WordPlay for taxation purposes. By refunding - rather than
offering immediate discount - we are able to refund the tax also. This means that as a customer you receive the full benefit,
including the pre-paid tax.
Is there any VAT payable on
WordPlay Services?
All VAT or other associated
sales taxes are included in the quoted price. Where businesses request quotes for services (for example the WordPlay
Writing Service) we will give a quote with sales/ VAT shown separate.
I
haven’t received my refund. What should I do?
It may take 48
hours for WordPlay to process your refund. Depending upon your method of payment (eg, Paypal or Bank Debit Card), your refund could take seven calendar days to show on your statement. If after
this time you still haven’t received your refund, please email us at:
wordplayrefunds@mail.com
and provide the following information:
- your membership number (if applicable)
- service/
product purchased
- date of purchase
- Paypal confirmation Number
