Quality of Service, Reward for Talent

Throughout this website you will see the phrase "WordPlay accredited". This is our way of ensuring service quality remains at our exacting standard. It also means that WordPlay can reward writing talent as well as who have the ability to use their writing and analytical ability to further the writing careers of others.

Accreditation can only be achieved via two routes:

The Winner of a WordPlay Competition will become an Accredited Writer. A second placed entrant may also be invited to become WordPlay accredited.

Passing a WordPlay Workshop or WordPlay distance learning course will lead to Accreditation in the workshop discipline (eg, critiquing, editing, synopsis writing).

To remain accredited, a WordPlay accredited member must remain a member of WordPlay and pass our regular monitoring process.

Benefits of Accreditation to the service user
Accreditation means that your end service provider is continually monitored for performance levels in the discipline in which he or she has achieved accreditation, and that the service user benefits from talent in the top 10% of the WordPlay community at all times.

Benefits of Accreditation to the Accredited Person
WordPlay only uses WordPlay accredited members to provide its services. Accredited members are invited to our list of Service Providers, and will then be available to receive freelance work opportunities from WordPlay. In other words, an accredited WordPlay member will be paid for services they provide through and on behalf of WordPlay, thus profiting from their talent.
